Foxy
Alongside a friend in Software Engineering, we created a simple online menu for a restaurant located in Griffintown using HTML, CSS and JAVASCRIPT. The goal was to incorporate a similar design to the restaurant while not overwhelming users who look at the online menu. This is to show that design does not have to be overwhelming with images when it comes to a menu, the typography can convey the same message of looks and feel of the restaurant.
While observing different parts of the restaurant, I noticed it has a dark colour palette and so, contrary to their current menu, I wanted to use that dark tone which is why the menu we coded is black. Like physical menus, we wanted to keep it simple with no images and allow readers to be convinced by the words on the menu.
